October 6-10; 9am to 4 pm
City Brewery Hospitality Center
Members:           $275.00

Ken Hosmer offers the best color system ever. He presents unique color ideas each day and encourages you to develop your personal color style. Painting demonstrations stress free, spontaneous painting and creative interpretation. A variety of subjects are usually presented, including human figures, animals, flowers and landscape.

Check-out Ken's website: www.kenhosmer.com Demonstrations: All done in watercolor (all aqua-media painters welcome). Ken is also an oil painter (find his oil paintings in his website). Ken teaches a dark to light method with value sketches done with ink on Bristol board. This process will be valuable to all media painters. Ken has agreed to instruct other media painters on an individual basis (other than watercolor) within the workshop (oil painters must use water based oil (to avoid fumes), acrylic, gouache, caesin,--some experience required).

Wisconsin Regional Art Program

Wrap was established 40 years ago to encourage people who love to create art.  Open to any Wisconsin non-professional artist, exhibits are held throughout the state.  A professional artist judges the work and leads an informational workshop.  Winners are selected to send to a state show in Madison.

Art was on display at the Pump House and on July 19th, Kari Hogden our judge gave a lecture and power point presentation about`incorporating her surroundings into her artwork while living in New Zealand.  Kari paints with oils and watercolor and lives 1/2 the year in Black River Falls and the other 1/2 in New Zealand.
